Hello and Welcome!
I'm Jamie! Welcome to my Creative Space!
I believe memories are important, and each one of us has a significant story to share. You may have all your stories and memories written down, documented and completely organized. Or, if you're like me, your stories may be all over the place: on sticky notes, hanging on the fridge, folded and hidden inside your Bible, in journals, and under piles of other parts of life, like bills.
Even if this is the case, I imagine that the majority of your stories, like mine, are somewhere inside your memory, and quite a few of them are waiting to be invited out. That's where scrapbooking and album-making come in. Albums are ideal places for stories & photo memories to make their home, in physical page form that can be flipped through together on the couch. That physical action of touching our photos and memories has a grounding effect, and invites us to unhurriedly remember and talk about the moments that make up the stories. I for one, have not shared nearly enough of these stories with my husband and kids. I wonder about you?
In all of this, I believe that as we create albums and journal our thoughts and memories, and as we SPEAK those memories to our families, we are all enriched. And, it is up to us to share the important stories from our lives with our kids and grandkids. If we don't, who will?
I hope you'll find inspiration to encourage you to begin or continue your memory-giving photo & story projects. Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to cheer you on.

Bring your projects - scrapbooking, cardmaking or otherwise - and enjoy a focused time of papercrafting and memory giving.
Organize photos, work on digital albums, chat with friends old and new, and just for fun, join the cardmaking or scrapbook layout workshops that I'll teach. It's okay if you're a beginner or if you've never considered yourself crafty or creative. It's also okay if your scrapbook stash hasn't been touched in 10 years! This memory-giving thing can be simple, relaxing and fun!
Just starting out? I have basic tools you may borrow during the retreat. I also have a variety of fun current CM tools to help you add a little "extra" to your pages - a great way to try before you invest in your own scrapbook supplies.

These can be added to an album or displayed in frames as decor. Or, create 3-4 cards with me! So simple and so fun! These short workshops are perfect for adults, teens or children - they provide a FUN time together, without screens. You and your friends will learn how to use some of our amazing papercrafting tools, and also complete a project without any tools at all. I provide all the supplies! Stories by Heart Faithbooking Groups & Resources

Our SbH groups provide a safe, consistent space for you to creatively explore and share the stories you know by heart and see God's work behind the scenes. You don't have to have the answers to why events have happened in your life - you may still have only questions or just memories of significant moments. And that is ok!
