Hello and Welcome!
I'm Jamie! Welcome to my Creative Space!
I believe memories are important, and everyone has a significant story to share. You may have all your stories and memories written down, documented and completely organized. Or, if you're like me, your stories may be all over the place: on sticky notes, hanging on the fridge, folded and hidden inside your Bible, in journals, and under piles of other parts of life, like bills. Even if this is the cae, I imagine that the majority of your stories, like mine, are somewhere inside your memory. I for one, have not shared nearly enough of these stories with my husband and kids.
I began scrapbooking as a teenager, and it is by far my favorite creative activity. While I enjoy digital album-making, I absolutely love holding beautiful, smooth paper, photos and scissors in my hands and creating traditional layouts from scratch (or scrap-lifting great ideas that others share!). And my kids pore over the scrapbooks I've made - especially my oldest's baby book (I'm still working on my younger two - 13 years later!).
I'm a busy homeschooling mom of 3, so I scrapbook slowly - in the margins of life. Sometimes my pages are simple (Fast2Fab albums and pages are lifesavers for this!). Oftentimes, though, I find that slowing down and playing with our Creative Memories punches and tools to create more detailed layouts is good for my brain and soul. Working with the colors and combining shapes, photos and words help me be more focused and loving in the rest of my life and relationships.
Sometimes I journal alot- like in my kids' baby books - that I'm still working on 13 years later. Other times, just a little caption under a photo is enough.
In all of this, I believe that as we create albums and journal our thoughts and memories, and as we SPEAK those memories to our families, we are all enriched. And, it is up to us to share the important stories from our lives with our kids and grandkids. If we don't, who will?

Bring your projects - scrapbooking, cardmaking or otherwise - and enjoy a focused time of papercrafting and memory giving.
Organize photos, work on digital albums, chat with friends old and new, and just for fun, join the cardmaking or scrapbook layout workshops that I'll teach. It's okay if you're a beginner or if you've never considered yourself crafty or creative. It's also okay if your scrapbook stash hasn't been touched in 10 years! This memory-giving thing can be simple, relaxing and fun!
Just starting out? I have basic tools you may borrow during the retreat. I also have a variety of fun current CM tools to help you add a little "extra" to your pages - a great way to try before you invest in your own scrapbook supplies.

Stories by Heart
Faithbooking Groups
Have you ever stopped to process how the seasons of your life have impacted you? What about God's presence during joy-filled and even difficult times? Are there Scripture passages that have been meaningful to you through the years? Or places that will always be significant to your story?
Have you wondered how impactful your story of faith could be if you told it to your children & grandchilden? Have you wanted to share those experiences and your testimony in a creative, tangible way that will last far beyond your lifetime?
My Stories by Heart Faithbooking groups provide a safe, consistent space for you to explore the stories you know by heart and see God's work behind the scenes. Expect to spend time in His Scripture, sharing and listening to others in our group, journaling and processing through the stories you know by heart, and then adding your memories (and sometimes photos) into a a beautiful archival safe Creative Memories album. These workshop groups are consistent and many have found them meaningful. I'd love for you to experience them or check in about starting your own with a group of friends.

Beginner Scrapbooking
& Cardmaking Classes
Create a simple beautiful scrapbook layout to begin your memory giving journey.
These can be added to an album or displayed in frames as decor. Or, create 3-4 cards with me! So simple and so fun! These short workshops are perfect for adults, teens or children - they provide a FUN time together, without screens. You and your friends will learn how to use some of our amazing papercrafting tools, and also complete a project without any tools at all. I provide all the supplies!
